*The KT Universal Bolt pattern allows you to attach Blackhawk, Blade-Tech, G-CODE RTI, or Safariland belt attachments on your KT OWB Holster. Just be aware that although all these belt attachments and drop legs will work with your KT OWB Holster, the belt attachments themselves won’t necessarily work with each other. For example, you can attach a Safariland QLS on your KT OWB Holster or a Blackhawk Paddle; however you can’t use a Safariland QLS to attach to the Blackhawk Paddle.

The KT AKELA Custom S holster is compatible with Suppressor or Large Compensator attached. This holster will have an adjustable profile retention as Primary with a snap button strap as Secondary.

Ideal carry for this holster is on your hip or waist. When you’re on the move, it is recommended that you keep the snap button strap fastened. When you are at the ready, you can undo the snap button strap and the holster will keep your handgun setup in place.

To draw your weapon from the KT AKELA Custom S holster, instead of the typical and simple “draw up” movement, you will want to 1st rotate your handgun’s muzzle up, and then out away from your body. This movement is similar to how you would do a dumbbell fly exercise with a supinated hand grip, instead of a dumbbell row which is the traditional handgun draw movement.

The KT AKELA Custom S holster will have the Universal Bolt Pattern pre-drilled. This will allow you to use Blackhawk, Blade-Tech, G-Code RTI, and Safariland belt attachment. If you don’t need to purchase a belt attachment because you already have one, you can order the holster with “no belt attachments.” We will include the fasteners with all holster orders.

OPTION GUIDE:

OWB Quick Clamp 2.25 standard belt - The Quick Clamp is a locking clamp design so you don’t have to undo your belt. The standard belt option will allow up to a 2.25in wide belt with standard thickness (i.e. nylon or leather). The Quick Clamp has one adjustable block to adjust for width and a fixed block that will clamp down on the belt to minimize movement.

OWB Quick Clamp 2.25 duty belt - The duty belt option will allow for a thicker belt such as a duty or multilayer competition belt. If the duty version is too loose on your belt, you may need the standard size Quick Clamp.

OWB Standard Loop up to 1.5in - This is a closed loop belt attachment that will allow up to a 1.5in wide and up to a 3/8in thick belt.

OWB Drop Plate up to 2in and some 2.25in belts - Mid height drop for a more comfortable draw. The large surface minimizes pressure points for all day extended use.

OWB Drop Plate + Tan Nylon strap - This option adds the stability of a Tan Nylon thigh strap.

OWB Drop Plate + Black Nylon strap - This option adds the stability of a Black Nylon thigh strap.

OWB Drop Plate + Tan Elastic strap - This option adds the stability of a Tan Elastic thigh strap.

OWB Paddle - Wide surface area for better weight distribution. The OWB Paddle can also be adjusted for forward or back cant.

no belt attachment - If you don’t need a belt attachment, this option will not include any. This holster features the KT Universal bolt pattern which allows you to use Blackhawk, Blade-Tech, G-Code RTI Hangers, and Safariland belt attachments.

With our medical device manufacturing and engineering background, we were able to carry over those methods and skills to bring you a fabric wrap feature that is fast, durable, and 99.9% wrinkle free. This Fabric Wrap service is not available to already made holsters at this time. The Fabric Wrap service is only available for new holster builds.
