KT Active Retention Strap

The KT Active Retention strap is a very inexpensive and simple 2nd level of retention to your holster. For going "in country" in situations where only gross motor skills are available. Also great for hunting, hiking, and/or going in the bush.

All KT holsters have an adjustable retention so the KT Active Retention strap isn't a requirement. However, if you don't want a strong retention for a smooth draw, the KT Active Retention strap will keep your sidearm where it is when you need it even without a strong holster retention.

How to install:

The “Standard” pull tab is 1in wide. If your setup has an RDS/RMR, or you plan to add one, the “Wide (RDS/RMR)” option will work better which is a 1.5in wide pull tab. If the Standard option is selected for a wider holster setup, we will go ahead and update your order to the “Wide (RDS/RMR)” to ensure proper functioning of your setup.
