universal bolt pattern holster

bolt pattern

All OWB KT AKELA holster, and Mk360 Wild Weasel versions, will have the Universal Bolt Pattern. The Universal Bolt Pattern will allow you to use Blackhawk, Blade-tech, G-CODE RTI Universal, and Safariland belt attachments and drop legs. You can use belt attachments that you already own or you can get parts from the parts page linked below.

NOTICE:
The binding posts are not captured so that you can move them to the bolt pattern you require.  Since the binding posts are not captured, they will spin if you turn the screw without holding down the binding post.

HOW TO:
To remove the belt attachment, you would need to unscrew the screws from the outside of the holster while holding down the binding post inside the holster.

To hold down the binding post inside the holster, and to prevent them from spinning freely, simply place one finger in the holster to hold down the binding post.  If you have sensitive fingers, you can use a leather glove or a rag over your finger.  If you can’t reach the binding post inside the holster, you can unwind the holster’s adjustable retention to give you more room.

HELP:
If you’ve run out of ideas, let us know.  We offer free belt attachment installs and removals, you just pay for the shipping.  contact@kt-mech.com
