← We can build any of our holsters weapon light compatible. If your handgun can attach a weapon light, you’ll find the weapon light modification option in the same page with your handgun model page. You can see which weapon light models we can build a holster for from the WEAPON LIGHT MODELS LIST page. |
| |
← Any of our holsters can be made to work with a compensator. If your compensator is the same profile or lesser than your slide, then we can build the holster to work with your compensator. Just add the “box compensator housing mod” to the shopping cart with your holster order. |
| |
← If your compensator is larger or wider than your slide, no problem. We have the KT AKELA Custom-S holster that’s specifically designed for use with a suppressor or large compensator. |
| |
| We can build any of our holsters with clearance for high sights, threaded barrel, optics/rds, extended slide stop, extended mag release, switched side mag release, or any other minor modification at no extra charge. You’ll be able to select these options from the order menu or add a comment, or send us an email if you require a peculiar modification. We’re always happy to help and we’ll see what we can do. |

-Weapon light- |
So you’re not happy that your target grouping is more than the size of a paper plate at 7 yards? One of the best ways to compensate for a shaky grip is by adding weight to your handgun. The most practical and actually useful weights you can add is a full size weapon light. The more CR123 batteries your weapon light has, the better. Competitive shooters use exotic materials like tungsten guide rods, brass grip inserts, or heavy barrels; all are expensive. Get an inexpensive X300U or TLR-1HL and call it a day. Weapon lights are the pound-per-pound easiest way to get more shots on target.
|
-Compensator/Muzzle Brake- |
Wanna shoot faster? The more “accurate” rounds you can throw down range, the more chances you’ll get of a critical hit. A compensator or muzzle brake will help with that. With a comp or brake, some of the blast or jet of hot gas gets redirected up and/or back, which helps minimize felt recoil and muzzle rise. This means that your gun will spend less time pointing at the sky after every shot. The faster that muzzle gets back down and pointed at your target, the faster you can pull the trigger again. pewpewpew, instead of pew—pew—pew.

-Optics/RDS- Cause they're f'n AWESOME! |
You’re not blessed with perfect vision? There’s a club you can join, it’s called the club of “everyone.” Holographic optics and red dot sights (Optics/RDS) are prolific and it’s for a reason. You can get the first shot on target faster than iron sights. No need to align 2 dots with 1 little dot and then look at what you’re shooting at. With Optics or RDS, you just look and shoot.
|
| There is the universal tactical maxim in a combat contexts that goes like “first one to get a shot on target wins.” If you can get that first one good shot on target, the fight might be over then and there. |
