Most of our holsters can be carried as a drop leg or thigh holster by getting a compatible drop leg rig. Below are your available options. The holsters and the drop leg rigs are sold separately. This allows you to purchase the holster by itself and add the drop leg rig later on, with no special modifications.

The KT AKELA and Mk360 holsters are compatible with the OWB Drop Plate or the KT LoadMaster (fully articulating) Drop Leg. Links are provided below.

The KT Gunfighter and KT Defender holsters are compatible with the KT Drop Legs. Links are provided below.

Duty KT AKELA Holster
(Level 2 retention)

Traditional Single Fold Design with dual adjustment screws

OWB Drop Plate - This is a rigid and very durable drop leg or drop plate. They are ergonomically curved for all day comfort. It has a high ride height so that you can still take a seat, while being low enough to clear plate carriers and LBE’s. The OWB Drop Plate can be purchased by itself or with a thigh strap.

KT Loadmaster - This is a Universal Drop Leg with a fully articulating mount. The articulating mount will allow you to sit down, walk, run, and do actual work. This is a working man’s drop leg. The KT Loadmaster has the KT universal bolt pattern that will allow you to attach any OWB KT AKELA, Duty KT AKELA, Mk360 KT Wild Weasel, KT Custom-S, Blackhawk, Blade-Tech, or Safariland holsters.

Ultra low profile "double shell" design with side mounted attachments.

KT Drop Leg - Works with any holster. If you have a holster that attaches to a belt, the KT Drop Leg will work with it. The KT Drop Leg has a drive grade heavy nylon thigh strap that works like a gun belt to attach any holster. Works great with low profile holsters such as the KT Gunfighter and KT Defender holsters.
